Up for your consideration is this very unique and beautiful server.  Featuring a Cupid with a Lion in the center medallion surrounded by hand cut fretwork.  The detailing is obviously hand done and etched.  The handle that joins the server has a lion's paw with foliage.  There is a monogram of an "L.K." on the handle.  The handle is an ebonized wood and has a small carved bone ball at the end giving it that special touch.  Was told that this was 800 silver, but the markings have been buffed off at some earlier time.  Measures: 16.5" long and 3.5" at its widest.
