The sculpture is a match holder and striker - the leaves to the side of the figure form a match holder, and the back of the sculpture has a ridged iron match striker.  The bottom is stamped "LEBLANC" as shown.  The statue sits freely on a marbled red stone base, the base is not attached.  The sculpture without the base is approximately 6" by 3.5" at the bottom and 5" high, the stone base is approximately 6.5" by 4.25" and 1" high.  The sculpture has a moderate patina from age, with some polished wear to the patina at some of the high points.  The iron striker has some surface rust and spots.  The stone base has some wear from age - there are some spots, scuffs, drilled holes, and edge chips as shown.  Please see photos for details.
