Directions for Use:

For Assembly as Form-in-Place Gasket:

1. Prepare Surfaces: Remove all previous material from mating surfaces. For best results, clean and dry all surfaces with a residue-free solvent like Permatex® Brake and Parts Cleaner.
2. Cut Nozzle: Cut the nozzle to the desired bead size (1/16" to 1/4" in diameter).
3. Apply Gasket Maker: Apply a continuous and even bead of silicone to one surface, encircling all bolt holes.
4. Assemble Parts: Immediately assemble parts while silicone is still wet. Secure or tighten to recommended torque specs.
5. Curing: Re-torque will not be necessary after the product has cured.

For Assembly as a Gasket Dressing:

1. Prepare Surfaces: Repeat cleaning steps as above.
2. Apply Thin Film: Apply a thin film of silicone to one surface to be sealed.
3. Position Gasket: Place the pre-cut gasket onto the silicone film.
4. Seal Gasket: Apply a second thin film to the pre-cut gasket surface.
5. Assemble Parts: Remove any excess and assemble parts immediately.

Note: Not recommended for use as a cylinder head gasket or head gasket sealant.

Storage of Unused Product:

• Silicone Plug Method: Allow excess material to extend beyond the nozzle to form a cured "silicone plug" that seals the product. Remove cured silicone when ready to reuse.
• PowerBead Dispensers: Use the included plastic cap or the silicone plug method for storage.

Cleanup:

• Uncured Product: Remove from parts and tools with Permatex® Fast Orange® Wipes or Hand Cleaners.
• Cured Product: Break the film with a dry cloth and remove as much as possible. Use Permatex® Gasket Remover for remaining material.
• Hands: Clean with a dry cloth or Permatex® Fast Orange® Hand Cleaner.
