One 0.860m long section with flange into the rear wheelarch 

Over 20 years on the roads can have taken its toll on the bodywork of all the Rover R3's. 

The problem which keeps coming up are the sills at MoT time. 

As built, the outer sills skin was a part of the entire body side pressing. Nothing was available for 10 years or more, until I introduced this correctly tooled panel! Please dont compare on price with 'slap over the top' items which are now being offered by others. 

I have now manufactured a series of tooled repair panels which overcomes all the issues you will find in the sills structure. Please use the ‘See sellers other items’ to navigate to my other parts which will help you fix your Rover/MG’s bodywork.

 This repair panel has exactly the profile of the original sill skin and extends from the lower welded joint up to the feature line which runs along the body about 15mm below the door tread - where the original sills stonechip paint finishes.

 This repair panel is suitable without any extra work for both 3 door and 5 door cars, and will fit as a repair to the RH sill. Please look at the pictures. 

My panels are manufactured in the UK from Zintec steel. This has a zinc surface treatment which makes the panels much more resistant to corrosion than untreated steel, but is perfectly ok to weld through.

One 0.860m long Half Length repair panel 

In many cases just a short patch is required towards the back end of the sill, so I've structured my offer to enable you to buy just the material you need. This item is 86cm (860mm) long and has the flange into the wheelarch already formed.

The sill is actually just over 1.7m in length, so you can combine this with my other sills repair panels to make up the exactly the repair package you need. 

Just this item if the rot is only to half way along the door,

The Half Sill 860mm + a Sills Section 875mm does the full length - From the Rear Wheelarch to where the sill disappears under the front wing.

Then I also have the closing panel in the rear wheelbox - usually rotten, but hidden by the wheelbox liner. 

Once inside the sill you may find the B-Pillar foot, the Stiffener and the Inner Sill also need repair. I have all the panels you need.

(I shall add that there is an OE part number ALA450350, however it is poorly pictured by those that carry it, it is only 630mm long so whilst listed for a 3 door its length suggests a 5 door may perhaps be a better use. Its advantage over this listing would be if you need to replace just a part of the the door tread area too as a single panel, I do produce a real 3 door tread repair panel which fits directly to the half sill and sill section.
