SHIPPING & HANDLING POLICY

Tracked delivery is not provided by default. If you want tracking, you have to request it. If you do not request tracking and the postal system fails to deliver, you do not ask for a refund. See details.

After purchase, you will receive (via eBay messaging) pictures as proof of shipping and proper packaging. I am providing this service to all buyers, regardless of the type of shipping, tracked or not. In certain cases, chosen at my discretion, I will even provide a certificate of mailing at my own cost. I am performing this service in order to avoid liability for the non-tracked items lost by the postal system. This means that, if you do not receive your non-tracked first-class mail (national or international stamped letter), you will not ask for a refund. PLEASE PURCHASE ONLY IF YOU ACCEPT MY TERMS.

Feel free to request an invoice before paying if:

  1. The automated invoice doesn't seem to calculate the shipping costs properly (see shipping options and costs farther below).

or

  1. You decide you want a more secure shipping method (tracking included) in which case you have to specify which method you chose (see farther below).

If you do not use the cart and/or do not ask for an invoice, but purchased multiple items within a couple of hours, rest assured, I will refund the appropriate shipping discount right-away and we'll solve any change of mind in regards to the shipping method.

When offered, free shipping disqualifies items for any other shipping combinations and/or discounts.

When offered, free shipping is of the non-tracked type and observes the same terms as above.

The following are my shipping & handling methods and charges:

I ship everything via USPS.

A. DOMESTIC SHIPPING (within USA)

    A. 1. The default domestic shipping for small items (3.5 oz or less) is First-class Mail, Stamped Letter or Large Envelope. This delivery method is not tracked and, unless you choose another method (see farther below), you assume the risk and do not ask for a refund in case the postal service fails to deliver. That said, USPS only lost about 1% of my national mail so far.

    The cost is $1.25 for the first item (3.5 oz or less) plus 25c for each additional purchased at the same time or within two hours.

    A.2. A less expensive delivery-tracked option is Certified Mail.

    The cost is $6.25 for the first item (13 oz or less) plus 25c for each additional item purchased at the same time or within two hours.

    A.3. Another tracked-delivery option is Registered Mail.

    The cost is $20 for the first item (13 oz or less) plus 25c for each additional item purchased at the same time or within two hours.

    A.4. A third tracked-delivery option for items heavier than 4oz and packages is Ground Advantage (5 days)

    Depending on weight and zone, the cost varies from $6.25 (4oz) to $20 (3lb) for the first item plus 25c for each additional item purchased at the same time or within two hours.

B. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

B.1. The default international shipping for small items (3.5 oz or less) is First-class Mail, International Stamped Letter or Large Envelope. This delivery method is not tracked and, unless you choose another method (see farther below), you assume the risk and do not ask for a refund in case the postal service fails to deliver. That said, USPS only lost about 3% of my international mail.

The cost is $3.25 for the first item (3.5 oz or less) plus 50c for each additional item purchased at the same time or within two hours.

B.2. The only partially tracked, but more secure way of international shipping for small items (3.5 oz or less) is Registered Mail.

The cost is $25 for the first item (13 oz or less) plus 50c for each additional item purchased at the same time or within two hours.

B.3. For larger items (4oz and up) I use First-class Package International Service.

The cost varies depending on destination and weight from $21 (4oz) to $50 (3lb). Ask for invoice.
