Vintage Jill Jans of California Pottery - Handmade / painted studio piece?   Odd little fellow - his ears look hand worked and applied, using an unusual technique which leaves some rough edges and unusual ripples.    No cracks or chips, but there is a fair amount of crazing  to the finish.  He's about 5.5 inches long 4.5 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide.  Please see my photos - they are part of the description - and feel free to ask questions.
