We strive to ensure that all our customers are satisfied with their purchases. If you experience any issues, please contact us through the eBay messaging system before initiating a return request. Most issues can be resolved quickly, and we are happy to make accommodations to address concerns. We typically respond to inquiries during our business hours of 11 AM – 7 PM EST, Monday to Friday.
PAYMENT
We accept payments exclusively from eBay verified customers. Payment is due immediately upon winning an auction or committing to a purchase. Message us if you anticipate any delay. Unpaid items will be re-listed within eBay established guidelines and marked as non-paying Buyer.
UPGRADES & CONFIGURABLE OPTIONS
Some items come with optional upgradeable components, such as SSDs or additional RAM. Please allow 2-4 business days for processing these configuration changes before shipping.
INSTALLED SOFTWARE
All installed software is subject to the licensing terms and copyrights of the respective software developers. For any issues or support needs related to third-party software, please contact the software developer directly. We provide support only for OS configuration and troubleshooting. Blue Max Computers is not liable for any damages or loss of use caused by third-party software failure.
Note: Custom firmware and apps, such as a software-based brightness control slider with configurable keys, are installed during the refurbishment process.
BATTERIES
Blue Max Computers offers no warranty on installed batteries or any guarantees regarding the length of charge beyond our 14-day "No DOA" assurance. Battery life varies by use, age, and condition. Batteries are tested to hold at least 80% of the original charge before shipping.
SHIPPING
We only ship to the verified PayPal/eBay address selected at checkout. Orders are typically shipped within 1-2 business days following cleared payment.
RETURNS POLICY
We accept returns under the following conditions:
Returns for DOA or damaged items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee if the issue is misrepresented by the customer. Items that are damaged by customer misuse, missing parts, or altered in any way may be subject to a higher restocking fee.
Blue Max Computers will not accept returns of any desktop or notebook computer after 30 days.
RETURN SHIPPING
We will provide a return shipping label for computers that are DOA or damaged in shipment. Please contact us BEFORE filing a return case with eBay so we can troubleshoot the problem. Many issues can be resolved quickly through email or chat.
When returning a product, please follow these guidelines:
The buyer is responsible for handling insurance claims for lost or damaged returned items.
ITEMS LISTED FOR PARTS/REPAIR
Any item sold as “as-is,” “not-working,” “for parts only,” or similar condition is non-returnable and sold without warranty. These items have no refunds, returns, or exchanges.
THEFT PREVENTION
All systems, components (SSDs, hard drives, logic boards, etc.), and memory modules are serialized to prevent theft or fraud. Tamper-evident indicators are installed on all computer cases. If tampering is detected or the case is opened without prior written authorization, all warranties will be voided. System statistics may be recorded to verify usage.
RETURN FOR BUYER CONVENIENCE
If a return is requested solely for buyer convenience (e.g., buyer’s remorse, changed mind, found a better price, etc.), the following terms apply:
