This is a Payne Model 100. It is an upscrew model, and is a Payne original, not Abercrombie & Fitch. There is no line notation, but it is probably a #5 model. It is in full original condition, with no repainting or rethreading. The owner's name is on the blank. There is little sign of use, and the blank is in good condition with no noticeable large scratches. There is no significant bending or warping of the blank, and the ferrules are tight. There is almost no cork thinning or missing holes in the grip. Overall, it is in very good condition, making it ideal for both actual fishing and collection. Payne in such good condition is rare and difficult to obtain. Original rod socks are included (no tag, aluminum case, or ferrule cap).
