The 2001 Topps set featured 790 cards and was issued over two series. Series 1 has 405 cards, series 2 has 385 cards. Card front has players name and 50th Topps anniversary logo printed in Gold. Card back has complete major league record. Card number 7 was not issued as Topps continued to honor the memory of Mickey Mantle.
