Description
Salmon Doubles – This is a collection of modern shrimp patterns tied on double hooks for Atlantic salmon. Ally Gowan’s Ally’s Shrimp, are by far the most popular salmon flies in use today and must feature in every salmon angler’s fly box. The Red Frances originated in Iceland and has since proved very effective throughout Scotland and Scandinavia whereas the Black Boar, tied on a silver Salar hook utilises boar bristles to represent the shrimp antennae.
