HOn3 D&RGW #62 Railway Express-Baggage Car, laser cut wood kit MRGS kit # 3062.

HOn3 MRGS kit to build a D&RGW  Railway Post Office & Express-Baggage Passenger Car. Laser cut wood, with cast resin roof and plastic details. Kit #3062. The laser cut wood and cast resin roof takes the hard work out of building this kit. Hand Rail in photo of built up car is not included. Many cars had this hand rail, in several varieties at various time during service. Because of these variations we have left it up to you the modeler to create the version of your choice, or leave it off, it ran in both variations. 

This kit builds the shorter of the D&RGW Railway Post Office/ Express-Baggage Passenger cars, frequently scene in the San Juan named trains and on the Chili Line. Prototypically correct for any one of these 4 cars, number specifically 62, also 53, 61 and 63.   See R. Built up model is shown for reference as are prototype photos, you are bidding on a KIT for this car, see additional photographs. Highly rated by reviewers and modelers, this is the first time this car has been offered, other than brass, in HO scale. There are complete instructions included, but no trucks, decals, couplers, paint or glue.  Trucks are available (PN 5002A) for      $11.95 a pair (see last photos), add them to your order.  Not a quickie kit, craftsman quality, but easy and simple to assemble by the average kit builder. 

All of these cars had doors only on the baggage compartment end. They also had applied metal baggage cart rub strips on lower car body.  You can choose from several prototype cars or build several different ones.  See reference material.

NOTE: Roofwalk is included, but as the railings were different on different cars, you will need to make your own or leave the roofwalk off.

No returns unless misrepresented, this is a kit, not an assembled model, look at the photographs, they are to show what the KIT builds or the original from which the KIT was derived,  ask questions if you need more information. 

Payment and Shipping Info:

I do combine items to save you on shipping charges. NOTE, to make it work you need to combine all your purchases (winnings) into your shopping cart and ask for an invoice for total. Then I can adjust shipping if the auto system has not done so.

On Buy It Now items if you are purchasing more than 1 item, add items to your cart that you want to purchase and then check out. This will allow you to pay for all of your items in one transaction and combine shipping.  In general, if you purchase more than one item please add to your shopping cart and request an invoice BEFORE paying, this way shipping can be combined.

If items are paid separately you will be charged shipping for each item and no refund given for shipping.  This has been forced upon us as eBay charges seller fees of 10% on shipping per item and they will not refund fees once payment is received.

When you fill out my automatic checkout, your reduced charges will automatically be computed, but may not be correct, see note above. Domestic shipping will be via USPS Priority  Mail, (fixed $12.00).

Shipping for international orders will also be determined after the close of the auction and will be Priority Mail to eBay's Global Shipping Service.
