There aren't many manufacturers that produce alto horns, and even fewer have a lineup like Yamaha.
The top-of-the-line Neo series YAH-803/803S has a heavy-duty valve casing, giving it a heavier playing feel. In contrast, the standard series YAH-203S has a lighter playing feel compared to the Neo series, making it easier for beginners to play.
Additionally, the mouthpiece is designed to connect directly to the first valve, making it easier for beginners to operate the slide.
The silver-plated finish provides some resistance, so even experienced players should be able to achieve a satisfying playing feel.
