Rebuilding your 2003-2018 BMW X-DRIVE Front differentials

The 2019-current differential occasionally uses different bearings which are currently unobtainable, however, I am working with some european vendors to secure these parts. The actually differential rebuild process itself is the same, just the sizes of bearing has changed. If you are able to obtain a kit for your specific differential, I am happy to install. Please message me for more details. This (as far as I can tell) only affects 2019+ vehicles.

I replace both pinion bearings and seals, carrier bearings and seals on both axles.

Your job is to OVERFILL the housing (it will weep out the overflow) with high-quality oil and change every 30,000 miles.  This will fix your noisy front end!
