9/15/1996 Nike NFL Game Used Jersey Jacksonville Jaguars Clyde Simmons Eagles Legend. A great piece of sports memorabilia!

This authentic Nike jersey was worn by defensive end Clyde Simmons during the 1996 season as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Clyde was a two-time Pro Bowler & a member of the Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame & 75th Anniversary All-Time Roster. Clyde was also a two-time 1st team all-pro, lead the NFL in sacks in 1992, & has enjoyed a lengthy post-football career as a coach at the collegiate & NFL level. He is widely considered one of the best players not currently enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

This jersey exhibits evidence of use, including dark marks on the front torso, gauges on the back numbers, & - I’m not sure how to phrase this delicately, but it appears he may have peed a little (or a lot) while wearing this jersey 🤢 There is a noticeable yellow stain across the entire front bottom of this jersey.

The back numbers are noticeably left-to-right crooked on the back of this jersey. I was able to match this crooked lettering kit to an image of Simmons from the September 15th, 1996 game against the Oakland Raiders.
