Product Introduction
This is an aluminum spool for the Cardinal 3/33 series.
By using aluminum material, Avail has achieved a high-quality and luxurious appearance.
In terms of performance, the CD320EX is 4.5 g lighter, and the CD340EX is 2g lighter than the existing 320R/340R, further reducing the body’s weight.
Avail has also slightly smoothed the angle of the spool edge and thinned it.
These changes reduce line release resistance, improve casting distance, and achieve a superb casting feel.
In particular, it is highly compatible with the PE line setting, which has become mainstream in modern times.
For expert anglers who can control the amount of line released by feathering, casting distance and casting feeling can be improved even when using nylon lines with “restorative power” that are difficult to handle with genuine spools.

Product Features and Precautions
Nylon lines have “restorative power” compared to PE lines.
Due to this high restorative power, nylon lines are released from the spool immediately after casting (and at landing).
Therefore, when using a nylon line, please perform “feathering” to intentionally suppress line release more than when using a PE line.
*Troubles will be reduced by feathering and intentionally applying brakes to line release.
