A selection of proper quilter's quality waddings/ battings which have been needle punched to create a quality wadding which is perfect for hand and machine quilting. 

Each wadding has a different composition stated in their name and these reflect in the price. 


They have all been made with long-staple fibres, are unbleached and have been manufactured to Oeko-Tex Standard without harsh chemicals. 

Can be hand or machine quilted/ stitched up to 4"/10cm apart

What are the washing instructions for quilter's wadding?

Machine Washable at 40 degrees

We recommend pre-washing prior to use. Hand wash and dry naturally. Use cool water and mild detergent.
Soak for 15 minutes and squeeze out excess moisture by rolling with a dry towel.
Dry naturally by leaving flat.
Shrinkage will be less than 5%. (approx 2-4%)


Do NOT Machine wash or tumble dry batting before quilting.
If pre-washing is not desired, we recommend that after completing your quilt, it should be machine washed with mild detergent and dried on a delicate cycle in the tumble drier.
This will give your quilt the perfect antique style wrinkled look.

This fabric is sold in increments of Half Metre, Metre, 3 metres and 5 metres. These can be added to your basket to build your required length. 
For example, if you'd like 7.5m. Please add 5m, 2 x metre and 1 x half metre to your basket. 

MULTIPLE ORDERS
Multiple purchases will ALWAYS be cut as one continuous length from the bolt and NOT as individual pieces

UK POSTAGE:
For UK postage, we always send our items by Royal Mail 2nd class, however each of our listings has the option to upgrade to 1st class or 24 hour courier. Please note that a parcel can only delivered by courier within 24 hours if we receive the order by 11am. 
We always aim to send our parcels the same day if purchased by 1pm. 
We ship on Monday - Friday ONLY. 
Any orders placed between 1pm on a Friday and Midnight on a Sunday will be shipped on Monday.
This includes 1st class and 24 hour courier parcels
