Carefully measure the aperture of your salt or pepper pot, as in the picture
IMPORTANT...
Choose the stopper size that is at least 1 mm bigger than the aperture to give a tight fit... For example, if the aperture is 16 mm, choose the size 17 mm stoppers. If the aperture is 12.5 mm choose the size 14 mm stoppers because the 13 mm ones won't give a tight enough fit.
