Based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Aussie Batteries & Solar are proudly an Australian company specialising in batteries for all applications, and complete solar systems. We believe in supplying the hardiest and most suitable products available, built to best handle Australia's harsh environmental conditions. We aim to only use and stock quality products that will last the distance, and back them above and beyond with exceptional warranties. Our products are sourced directly from the manufacturers, allowing us to offer competitive pricing.
Payments
Payment methods include: PayPal, Bank Deposit, Credit Card or Cash on Pickup.
Payment or contact is required within 3 days of confirming to buy/winning an auction.
Delivery
Delivery Terms
Shipping is available Australia wide. We ship our products with several major courier companies within Australia, depending on which courier will provide the best price to your delivery address. Tracking numbers are provided for all goods once dispatched from our warehouse, and these can be entered on the relevant courier company's website to view the status of your delivery. We have ATL (Authority to Leave) in place for all deliveries - please advise if you would prefer to sign for delivery. Delivery is not available on weekends, public holidays or after business hours.
Please ensure you provide a physical home or business address for delivery (couriers will not deliver to a PO Box/parcel locker) and a daytime contact number. If nobody is available to sign for your delivery, the courier company may opt to leave the package in a safe location at the address, or alternatively leave a calling card with details on where to pick up your delivery (usually at their local depot).
Delivery Times and Pickups
The majority of our items are shipped from our warehouse based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Please allow 1-2 business days after payment has cleared for your order to be processed. Some items that are built to order may take additional time for construction.
If you need your order to arrive by a certain date, please contact us prior to ordering so we can ensure that it will get to you in time.

Alternatively, feel free to pick up your order from our store/warehouse on the Sunshine Coast. Please be aware not all products are always in stock, so please call before coming to pick up your order to avoid disappointment.
Delivery Costs
Delivery costs for all items are automatically calculated based on the address provided by the customer, the weight/dimensions of the items to be shipped, and any fees charged by the courier company to deliver. For some items (particularly very bulky items such as battery banks), delivery costs cannot be automatically calculated online. Please contact us for delivery costs to your area if ordering these items.
Damaged Packages
Delivery insurance is included with all purchases, covering your items from damage or loss during transit. If you receive your order and find it has been damaged, please report this to us within 48 hours.
- When signing for the delivery, note that the goods are damaged with the delivery driver
- Take photos of the damage and send to us via email
- Contact us and a staff member will assist you further
Lost Packages
If you have not received your order and believe it may be lost, the fastest way to track the order is directly with the company that is transporting it.
- Locate the relevant courier on your invoice, and open their website
- Track the status of your parcel, by entering your tracking number
- If you parcel appears to not be moving, has stagnated, or is lost, please contact the courier directly with your consignment number to receive a status update
* If tracking is not available on the couriers website, please contact the courier directly with your consignment number.
* If your tracking number does not work, please call us and we can check it has been correctly scanned out of our dispatch facility.
Refunds
Please choose carefully when purchasing, as we may not be able to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
Faulty on Arrival
If you receive a faulty item, we will at our discretion either repair or replace the item. If the fault is minor (such as a dent) and you would prefer to keep the item, we may offer you a partial refund of the purchase price as compensation. Landgren Pty Ltd t/a Aussie Batteries & Solar will arrange and pay for any return freight if we require the faulty product returned, and for any delivery costs to get the repaired or replaced item back to you. When a faulty item is being returned for a replacement, the original item must first be returned before a replacement item is sent out. If we cannot repair or replace your item, we may offer you a similar alternative (if one exists) or a refund of your order.

Incorrect Item
In the event you receive an incorrect item, you can return the product as long as it remains unused and unopened with the original pacaking intact. If the item is incorrect due to an error by you, you will need to pay for all postage costs. If the error is by us, we will pay for postage costs.
Product Exchanges
We are not required to provide an exchange if you change your mind, however typically we will be able to do this on the following conditions:
- Item is unused, unopened with the original packaging intact
- Any shipping costs to return the item and have the exchanged item delivered are covered by the customer
Aussie Batteries and Solar reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee for any new items that have been ordered incorrectly and returned. The buyer is also responsible to pay postage for any items returned under Warranty but are found to be fully working when tested.

Warranty
Important note: Australian Consumer Law
This warranty is provided in addition to other rights and remedies held by a consumer at law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Battery Warranties
Landgren Pty Ltd t/a Aussie Batteries & Solar will replace a battery if it is faulty or defective in either manufacturing or materials during the warranty period.
Our batteries are covered by a pro rata warranty. This means that depending on the amount of time you have had the battery for, if you make a warranty claim you may have to pay a small pro rata fee, based on the time you have had the battery and a percentage of the replacement battery cost. This is because you have had substantial use from your product, receiving a certain value already from your investment.
An example of pro rata warranty:
John has a 60AH Giant Power battery. The battery has stopped charging.John sends the battery back for testing, and it is confirmed that the battery is faulty. A new 60AH Giant Power battery costs $189. John has had his battery for 11 months, so according to the pro rata warranty, he must pay 16.5% of the cost towards the replacement battery. John pays the 16.5% pro rata fee of $31.19 and is sent a new 60AH Giant Power replacement battery.

The majority of our product lines are covered under our general warranty in the event of fault or defects in either manufacturing or materials during the warranty period. In the event of a faulty product, Landgren Pty Ltd t/a Aussie Batteries & Solar will at its discretion repair or replace the faulty product.

Warranty Conditions
- The warranty period is not renewed or extended as a result of a warranty repair or replacement
- The sales receipt for the product must be provided as a proof of purchase when a warranty claim is made
- The warranty is not transferable and is only offered to the original end user of the product
- The warranty only applies to products purchased through Landgren Pty Ltd t/a Aussie Batteries & Solar or authorized resellers
- To the extent that any conditions or warranty implied by law is excludable, such a condition or warranty is excluded.
Warranty Exclusions
Warranty offered by Landgren Pty Ltd t/a Aussie Batteries & Solar is void if the defect or fault is caused by:
- Failure to follow proper installation, operation or maintenance of the product
- Inappropriate or improper use of product for purposes other than that for which it was designed
- Neglect, lack of care, poor handling or accidental damage
- Repairs, alterations or modifications performed by a third party without our explicit consent
- Tampering or alterations to the product markings or labelling
- Contamination of product by foreign material
- Incorrect charging, including overcharging and/or undercharging
- Use of batteries in golf buggies or mobile scooters
Warranty does not include:
- Labour costs
- Transit costs (if the product has to be sent back to us)
- Normal maintenance costs
- To the extent permitted by law, any damage to property, personal injury, direct or indirect loss, consequential losses or other expenses
- Changes in the condition or operational qualities of the product, resulting from incorrect storage, fitment, application, maintenance, environmental factors, or other influences
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe your product is faulty or defective due to improper manufacturing or construction, please follow these steps to make a warranty claim:
- Contact Landgren Pty Ltd t/a Aussie Batteries & Solar regarding the details of the faulty product. We will try to confirm whether or not the product is indeed faulty through simple testing, however you may be required to return the product to us at your cost for more advanced testing.
- Once the product has been confirmed to be faulty, we will repair or replace it under the terms of the relevant warranty. Fees may apply for pro rata warranties or transport costs to send a replaced or repaired product.
- In the event a product is deemed by our testing not to be faulty or, you have the choice to have the product returned at your cost.
