Designed and made in the USA with durable urethane polymers and 3M adhesives, the KeelShield has a lifetime guarantee and works on most fiberglass and aluminum boats (see compatibility below). KeelShield Compatibility
  • Adheres to fiberglass, urethane, treated wood, and all metals (see Aluminum Boats below)
  • Anti-fouling paint must be removed before installation
  • Will not work on pontoon boats, boats whose trailers have weight bearing rollers, bunks, or pads that the KeelShield will rest on or come in contact with when the boat is launched and loaded
  • Will not work for boats or personal watercraft that pull up on a jet dock
  • Will not work on personal watercraft with steps, strakes, or chines where the KeelShield will be installed
  • Will not work if leading edge is installed below resting waterline

Required Installation Materials
  • Isopropyl alcohol
  • Paper towels
  • Hand protection (gloves)
  • Minimum ambient temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit

Shipping and Tracking

  • Items ship the same day if purchased on a business day before 11am Pacific Time.
