No games or batteries included. I recommend getting high quality rechargeable AA batteries. "Ikea Ladda 2450 mAh" and "Eneloop" are good options
This console is made with a refurbished original Gameboy Color motherboard and functions the exact same as an original Gameboy Color.
The following parts are custom upgrades:
- New shell with Ho-oh graphic UV printed on
- New OLED Laminated Backlit screen
- New buttons and button membranes
- New speaker
- New capacitors
- It is 25% larger than an original gameboy color screen
- OLED has very rich colors and lights each pixel individually - black colors will look very solid black with no backlight bleed
- The screen illuminates the "GAMEBOY COLOR" logo with settings to change to many different colors
- 5 pixel modes, ranging from heavy scanlines (defined pixels like old screens) to very smooth picture (no lines, more modern) to fit your preference
- FRM Setting - emulates the slower refresh rate of original screens to help effects display properly
- The settings menu can be accessed from the touch screen
