The MTS-6 II uses a 1.6mm thick stainless steel chassis with extremely high rigidity. The stainless steel parts used are non-magnetic austenitic SUS304. In addition to anti-vibration properties, it also provides strong protection against electromagnetic waves and noise.
Among the parts that make up a power strip, it is no exaggeration to say that the outlet is the most important part. This product follows the concept of the previous model, which has high springiness in the tooth rest and no phosphor bronze plating that suppresses coloration of the tone, and improves the high range by applying a buff finish to the same product. Equipped with a ""SWO"" modification model exclusively for the ""MTS-6 II"" that aims for a more modern sound.
As a result of trying all kinds of internal wiring and repeating many auditions, we decided to use 2mm oxygen-free copper single wire, which uses polyolefin resin with a low dielectric constant as the insulator, for the power wiring section. And for the ground wire, which is one of the key elements that determines the sound, we used precision conductor ""102 SSC"" copper wire.
For soldering the wiring, Oyaide Electric's original audio solder ""SS-47"" is used. Regular solder has tin purity of around 99.9% (3N) due to cost considerations, but ""SS-47"" further improves purity and eliminates impurities to the utmost, using high purity tin of over 99.993% (4N). I'm doing it.
