Nytol Herbal Simply Sleep & Calm Elixir is a traditional herbal medicinal product used for the temporary relief of symptoms of mild anxiety and to aid sleep, based on traditional use only.

How to use the product:

For oral use.
Adults and the elderly:
For the symptomatic relief of mild anxiety:
Take two 5ml spoonfuls three times a day with water or a fruit juice if desired.
To aid sleep:
Take two 5ml spoonfuls 30 minutes before bedtime with an earlier dose during the evening if necessary.
Maximum daily dose:
Four single doses.
Do not exceed the stated dose.

Ingredients:

Each 5ml of oral liquid contains : 1.5ml of tincture from dried Valerian (Valerian Officinalis L.) root (1:8), extraction solvent: Ethanol 57% v/v.

Also contains: Liquorice liquid extract, orange oil, lemon oil, coriander oil, anise oil, ethanol, sucrose and water.

Side effects:

Drowsiness.
Dizziness.
Constipation.
Stomach upset.
Blurred vision, or dry mouth/nose/throat may occur.
If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
To relieve dry mouth, suck (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water, or use a saliva substitute.
If your doctor has directed you to use this medication, remember that your doctor has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects.
Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.
Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including:
Mental/mood changes (such as restlessness, confusion).
Difficulty urinating.
Fast/irregular heartbeat.
Get medical help right away if you have any very serious side effects, including:
Seizures.
A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare.
However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including:
Rash.
Itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat).
Svere dizziness.
Trouble breathing.

Once we have received your order, out duty pharmacist or a suitably trained member of the pharmacy team will contact you to ensure that the product is appropriate to use. Once we have spoken to you, your order will be shipped on the same day (if before 13:00) or the next day.

We dispatch orders using the Royal Mail service and various other couriers. Delivery in the UK typically takes 2-7 working days.

Orders are usually dispatched within 1 working day of being placed.

The Royal Mail delivery service that we use classifies UK destination parcels, which take over 5 working days from the day of dispatch for delivery as "Delayed".
