The Highlands village buildings represent the historical blackhouse architectural style of Scotland and the Hebrides. These hand-built houses consisted of drystone walls packed with earth, and heavily-secured thatched roofs.
Each non-ruined house includes a bed, barrel, and hearth fire. The non-ruined barn includes a haystack with hidden compartment, three barrels, and a supplies stack. The Chief's House includes removable window shutters and interior privacy curtain. All buildings have detailed and playable interiors, and non-ruined buildings have functioning doors.
