12v 22 amp Dynamo direct replacement for the Lucas C40 22756 Dynamo

These dynamos come with the tacho drive mounted on the back, the fan and pulley will need to be transferred from the old dynamo.

With these dynamos being the open type that are prone to allowing moisture in which over time causes the dynamo to not be as efficient and eventually fail. This particular dynamo is designed to be fitted with a fan on the front to allow for cooling allowing the dynamo to work at its maximum capacity. Quite often the tacho cable ends can wear causing it too slip in the drive unit,

The dynamo will require being polarised once fitted, the dynamo needs polarizing to ensure it matches the polarity of the control box, if this isn’t done then the dynamo wont work. The dynamo comes with instructions on how to do this.
