  • ATP-2, 0.4 x 0.7 mil Elliptical, the ATP-N1 stylus fits perfectly, the tip is a slight downgrade
  • ATP-2, 0.3 x 0.7 mil Elliptical, the ATP-N1 stylus fits perfectly, the tip is a downgrade
Compass Series:
  • ATX-1 0.6 mil Conical... The ATP-N1 is almost an exact match, one of the biggest differences is the AT logo on the stylus, not the Compass logo
  • ATX-3 0.4 x 0.7 mil Elliptical, the ATP-N1 stylus fits perfectly, the tip is a slight downgrade
  • ATX-5 0.3 x 0.7 mil Elliptical, the ATP-N1 stylus fits perfectly, the tip is a downgrade

These Original Audio-Technica styluses (NOS) are part of a Special One-Time Purchase that I have already made that allows me (Phono Jack) to sell you this stylus at a discount.
These Original Audio-Technica styluses (NOS) were made in the Japan by Audio-Technica, since Audio-Technica made them, they were made according to manufacturer's specs. Why rival the performance of the original Audio-Technica styluses when you can own an original?

The Artistic Audio (Generic) LEC-D6C has a List Price that is TBA, as they are not available. The plan is that they will be available in 0.6 mil Conical and it looks like they will be produced in Japan. 
While the LEC-D6C is a high quality generic, professionals and audiofiles that would be attracted to the "Professional Series" Audio-Technica cartridges would likely prefer the original Audio-Technics stylus. It is likely that I will run out of the original before the design of the generic is complete. I will list the Artistic Audio styluses when they become available.
Notes on the variations on this offer to ensure that you pick what you need on the wheel when selecting the item to purchase.
(1) The NOS Audio-Technica ATP-N1 fits ATP-1 is a new, old stock, Audio-Technica ATP-N1 that is unopened/unplayed. It is a 0.6 mil conical stylus that will fit A/T Professional Cartridges ATP-1 (exact match), ATP-2 and ATP-3 (note: the ATP-2 is a 0.4 x 0.7 mil elliptical and the ATP-3 is a 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical. Many consider the conical to be a slight downgrade (to the ATP-2) and a downgrade to the ATP-3 while others insist that conicals tracking is superior, so conicals have better sound).
(2) The Artistic Audio LEC-D6C is a high quality generic 0.6 mil conical stylus that is brand new, the stylus is still on the drawing board, it is likely that the NOS original styluses will be sold out before the generics are available.
The NOS Original Audio-Technica styluses were made in Japan for Audio-Technica.
