New- Open Box: The product may be New Surplus or a
New Take Out. Item is subject to 1 year warranty. Item is cleaned, inspected,
and tested E’ok.
New / Unused Surplus: The product is a new, unused
item that may or may not have its original packaging. The item has never been
put into service and is subject to a 1-year warranty. The product may show some
signs of shelf wear. Item is cleaned, inspected, and tested E’ok.
New Take Out: The product is a new, unused
item that may have been previously installed in electrical equipment but has
never been energized. Item is cleaned, inspected, and tested E’ok.
Seller Refurbished or Reconditioned
(Circuit Breakers): The
product is inspected, cleaned, free of any damage, fully functional, and the
labels are in pristine condition or replaced. The Product will appear as
Like-New condition, comes with a test report/proof of test, and is subject to a
1-year warranty. The product is tested using primary injection test method,
insulations resistance, and contact resistance. All circuit breakers that can
be opened without jeopardizing the integrity and function of the breaker will
be opened to ensure proper inspection and cleaning of its contacts and other
components. All reconditioned equipment meets performance, operation, and
safety standards dictated by the OEM. PEARL or NETA performance standards will
be used if OEM standards are not readily available to the public. Our
certified technicians follow OEM, NETA, and PEARL reconditioning and
performance standards to ensure that reconditioned equipment will perform
as expected and meet or exceed its expected lifetime.
PRIMARY INJECTION TESTING- Inject overload and fault level
currents through the device to determine if the device is performing within
specifications.
INSULATION RESISTANCE TESTING- Apply high-voltage DC current
between isolated current carrying components to ensure the insulation is not
compromised.
CONTACT RESISTANCE- Apply current using a digital
low-resistance ohmmeter to measure the resistance between two mating contacts.
Seller Refurbished or Reconditioned: The product is inspected,
cleaned, and repaired, found to be free of damage, fully functional,
Electrically OK, Mechanically OK, and the labels are intact or replaced. The
item may also be painted, relabeled, and have new parts installed as necessary. Equipment
is tested for proper insulation resistance, contact resistance, operation, and
performance. The Product will appear as Like-New condition, comes with a test
report/proof of test, and is subject to a 1-year warranty. All
reconditioned equipment meets performance, operation, and safety standards
dictated by the OEM. PEARL or NETA performance standards will be used if OEM
standards are not readily available to the public. Our certified
technicians follow OEM, NETA, and PEARL reconditioning and performance
standards to ensure that reconditioned equipment will perform as expected
and meet or exceed its expected lifetime.
Used: An item that has been used previously. Item
is cleaned, inspected, tested electrically-ok, fully functional, and is subject
to a 90-day warranty. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear.
As-Is and For Parts or Not
Working: The
product is shipped as pictured. The Item may or may not function as
intended and is not fully operational. This includes items that are defective
in ways that render them difficult to use, items that require service or
repair, or items missing essential components. Item is not subject to warranty.
Warranty:
One-Year Warranty - All New,
Reconditioned, and Tested with Test Report Items
Warranty will extend for 1 year from
the date the item is shipped, during which time the product will operate
satisfactorily under nameplate rated load and normal usage and conditions,
after proper installation.
90 Day Warranty - All Used Items
Warranty will extend for 90 days from
the date the item is shipped, during which time the product will operate
satisfactorily under nameplate rated load and normal usage and conditions,
after proper installation.
No Warranty- All As-Is and For Parts
or Not Working Items
All As-Is and For parts or Not Working
Items do not include a warranty. The Electric Barn will not accept returns for
these items.
Note: Should the product fail during
the warranty period, the buyer shall return the product to the seller, at the
buyer's expense, for inspection and verification of the warranty claim. Should
the warranty claim be deemed valid, The Electric Barn will replace the item
with equal value or refund the buyer the full purchase price of the product. If
the product is repaired or replaced under warranty, the new warranty period
will extend for 90 days from the shipping date of the repaired or replaced
product. Altering, tampering with, or the removal of electrical labels
voids all warranties. No Refunds on Labor.
