This wireless remote control allows you to operate your compatible camera's shutter release from up to 5 m, with the choice of instant release or 2-second delay. Using infrared technology, this remote control connects  to your camera letting you take self-portraits, group shots or more challenging film compositions. Compact and extremely lightweight, the RC-6 is can be kept in your kit bag for use whenever you need.

No  battery is included on this item. It takes a CR2025 which needs to be installed with the top of the battery facing the back of the remote. The camera needs all WiFi and Bluetooth features turned OFF. And the camera needs to be set to remote timer mode.  The remote is an IR remote so you need to be pointed at the front of the camera for the remote to work the same as a TV remote.  Please make sure you have set up the camera correctly as above or it won't work.
