PFM Subsonic Filter

This unique feature is legendary with many AudioControl fanatics for its ability to fine-tune the bass response of any system. Why waste power on nasty subsonic information when your Programmable Frequency Match (PFM) filter can help you clean things up?


These modules contain KOA Speer metal film resistors (1% tolerances) & Kester solder. If you want to be spot-on with your frequencies, these are it. Check out our other modules.

Will work with AudioControl units that accept 14-pin IC modules (18 dB/octave slope)

We resistance test every module before it’s shipped out for correct tolerances.

What's the difference between 1% and 5%?
It refers to resistor tolerances. Resistor tolerance is the maximum allowed difference between a resistor's actual resistance and its stated value, expressed as a percentage. For example, a 1 kΩ resistor with 5% tolerance can range from 950 Ω to 1050 Ω, while a 1% tolerance version has a range of 990 Ω and 1010 Ω.

The effect it has on AudioControl filler modules is explained below.
Actual value of 10 Hz 5% can range between 9.5 Hz and 10.5 Hz
Actual value of 10 Hz 1% can range between 9.9 Hz and 10.1 Hz
