This item is more than 10 years old from manufacture. Product photo is for illustrative purposes only. There are individual differences such as the peeling of the seal on the lid. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the model kit, but there may be some damage to the packaging due to age. (Sunburn and yellowing) I have removed items with major damage so there is nothing to worry about, but if you are nervous please feel free to ask questions before purchasing.
