This is an art glass fruit/compote bowl. It is most likely a piece by Johann Loetz Glass, Austria, created in the early 20th century in the Art Nouveau style. It is an iridescent green and has a beautiful pinched, fluted edge.
This piece measures 9-1/4 inches in diameter and 8 inches in diameter at the mouth. It stands approximately 3-1/2 inches tall.
Previously owned items are sold "as is". This piece would be a replacement piece for a brass stand/holder as it does have a hole in the bottom. The hole measures 3/8 inch in diameter. The hole appears to have a slight chip at the bottom. It would not effect attachment to a holder/stand.
