Vintage Corkscrew Wine Opener, Bottle Opener, Bremen Town Musicians

The characters were celebrated Musicians of Bremen, Germany and the corkscrew was based on a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm (1780's - 1860's).  The corkscrew itself is believed to be from the 1950's but not 100% sure.  The characters are a Donkey, Dog, Cat and a Rooster.  One side of the handle reads "90" and the other "Sto".  The marks may be German and lead to believe it is silver plated.  It does have som light scratches from use and could use a good cleaning.  See picture for condition.

It is just under 6 inches tall, 2 inches wide and close to 1/2 an inch deep.  The corkscrew comes from the handle nicely and it has a drip hole at the bottom of the key to allow it to dry (if it gets wet from the wine).

Main picture shows the SAME corkscrew.  It is 2 different photos side by side to display it with the sheath on and off.
