This
is a lovely antique red alphabet cross stitch sampler, showing letters, numbers and borders stitched with bright red cotton thread.
The
sampler is Belgian and dates from circa 1900. It is signed 'S.V. D. Borght, Berlaer'.
It measures approximately 10 1/2 x 8 3/4 inches or 26.5 x 22 cm.
The sampler is in good condition, considering its age.
