We have changed the cartridge attachment part of the main body from threading to a long hole. This allows the use of most cartridges.
African ebony is a beautiful black material used for oboes and clarinets.
It has a specific gravity of about 1.4 and its strength is close to the highest value among woods.
The headshell itself has screw holes so that cartridges can be fixed directly to it.
The use of a wood headshell with high internal loss is thought to considerably reduce the effects of resonance.
