The Lily pattern leaf decoration to the handle terminal and heel of each piece is a classic example of mid-Victorian naturalism.
The anterior surface of the handle of these antique silver sauce ladles incorporate the contemporary bright cut engraved crest of a stag"s head.
These fine examples of Victorian flatware have a plain rounded bowl ornamented with a leaf decorated heel accented with a "lozenge mark" which certifies the patent of this design on 21st of January 1850 with the UK Patent Office.
