This is the traditional solid reversible bottom board and is made with solid pine, no plywood.  Traditionally one would use the larger opening during the summer and the smaller 3/8" opening during the winter.   Personally, we prefer to use only the 3/8" opening as we find it provides a large enough opening for the bees.

Overall dimensions are 16-1/4" x 1-7/8" x 21-3/4"
