The first photo you see is the color of the elephant which is a very deep chocolate brown with deep bronze highlights. It was very hard to photograph the color and get it right but as I said the first is very close but in real time the color is much better. Gorgeous piece of art.

I am pretty sure that it is made of resin. When I tap it it does sound of it. It does look like it could be made of wood. Very well-made and very detailed.
