This is an antique patriotic linen featuring tone on tone words. The embroidered border is a faded red color. Loose threads form a fringe. The words on the linen are "The Independence of the United States of American Declared July 4, 1976" and "Washington Elected President of the Federal Union March 1989 E. Pluribus. Unum". The two phrases are separated by an eagle emblem.
The linen measures 33 inches by 19 inches (not including the fringe).
Previously owned items are sold "as is". This linen is showing signs of age with a few small stains and a few spots where the weave is loosened. But, considering its presumed age (early 1900's), it is in excellent condition.
