This MacBook Pro is being listed AS-IS due to not having an operating system and its physical condition. Prior to the operating system issue, the laptop was running MacOS High Sierra. In an attempt to re-install the operating system, after erasing the MacBook, the MacBook will pop up with the error message "The recovery server could not be contacted." (photo 3) and will not proceed the installation. The battery needs to be replaced, as the laptop does not stay on while unplugged. Additionally, there is cosmetic wear around the housing of the laptop. The top case has many light scratches with a couple deep scuff marks (photos 4, 5, 6). The top left corner is bent inward (photo 10). Bottom case is scratched and top left rubber pad is worn (photo 7). Trackpad is cracked on bottom left corner, but still functional (photo 13). Includes charging block and cable, no other cables or accessories included.
