-DOCTOR'S FORMULARY & NOTEBOOK 1919, HANDWRITTEN
This wonderful handbook has clearly been compiled over a considerable time by a doctor. The first few pages appear to be dedicated to his or her telephone directory (most numbers only had three or four digits). The bulk of the book is a register of medicines and their chemical makeup. Symbols for the ingredients are in the 'old text' (grains, drams and scruples etc). It is heavy going but well worth the read!
