This beautiful Casserole Dish is a unique piece of Mexican pottery, handmade and hand-painted in the Tlaquepaque region during the 1930s. Its black color and intricate design make it a great addition to any collection. It actually has quite a chocolate color in nature, which makes it stand out more prominently. The painting on the body is such a unique and rare design that i have never seen before. With different lines of color that surround the body. The lid is painted wonderfully with a light skinned person overlooking what looks like a church.
The set is in great shape for its age. It does have a few blemishes from over the yrs that were highlighted in the photos like a small chip on the rim of the lid, and a small one on the side of the dish. These to me make the dish more authentic in its look.
Its age and craftsmanship make this truly a one-of-a-kind item that will add character to any space or collection.
I will ship the dish using usps shipping with tracking and insurance.
