This is a beautiful antique needlework sampler showing blue & red Holbein embroidery.
The back of the sampler is (almost) as neatly stitched as the front.
The sampler is Dutch and dates from circa 1900.
This sampler is quite large, it measures approximately 14 1/2 x 19 inch or 37 x 48 cm, the fringe included.
