In fair condition. Green cloth boards display normal shelf wear - bumped corners and scuffed edges. Some pages torn. Volume 2 front free endpaper separated, laid in front.Toning to the pages, which are fragile. Library plate present upon front pastedown - "Free public library of New Haven". Some pages dogeared. Punch holes present in binding. Please refer to photos. A Suitable set for reference or research. 

This piece is a set of three volumes of patents, one for the twenty-three year period from 1877 - 1900, another for the three year period from 1905-1908, and the third for the four year period from 1926 - 1930, with many patents included that are focused in regards to the processing and treatment of sewage. Volume 2 also includes a number of other categories of patents, such as Sewing, Embroidery, Maritime Vessels, Shop Fittings and innovations in Sifting and Separating methods. This collection of patents includes a number of detailed illustrations of various methods of sewage treatment, filtration, and treatment of refuse. Please refer to photos. This piece would be an excellent find for anyone interested in the history of sewage treatment.
