This is reproduction painting of Sandro Botticelli's the birth of
Venus(details). The painting is print on canvas.
It was stretched to fit the frame perfectly. It was stretched with
a 0.75" thick, spruce wood stretcher frame of top quality.
The canvas maintains its lightweight properties. It requires a nail
or two to be hanged on the wall.
The theme of the Birth of Venus was taken from the writings of the
ancient poet, Homer. According to the traditional account, after Venus
was born, she rode on a seashell and sea foam to the island of Cythera.
We can see that Venus is wearing her long hair,
which was popular in the late fifteenth century. Botticelli paid much attention
to Venus’s hair and hairstyle. Venus was given an idealized face which is
remarkably free of blemishes, and beautifully shaded her face to distinguish a
lighter side and a more shaded side. The original painting is in the Uffizi
Gallery in Florence, Italy.

It was stretched to fit the
frame perfectly. A 0.75" thick, spruce wood stretcher frame of top
quality was used to produce the painting. Even with a solid wood framing, the canvas
maintains its lightweight properties and depending on the format, requires no
more than a nail or two to be hanged on the wall.
The painting was used an exclusive
HP latex ink to provide the best reproduction quality. The futuristic printing
technology can generate the finest colors and contrasts, enhancing the quality
of your painting. Besides the visual
prowess provided by the printing facilities, there are no solvents used in the
process, thus our canvases pose absolutely no health hazard to both children
and those suffering from allergies.
The canvas fabric is carefully
hand-stretched over a high-quality wooden framework and attached to the
backside of the frame, ready for hanging on your walls.
