The 4 cylinder diesel D198ER was designed for military applications.
It has a displacement of 198 cubic inches, and produces 58 horsepower at 2,600 rpm.
It is 32 inches long, 24 inches wide, and 31 inches tall. It weighs 695 lbs.
The military spec is: MIL-E-11276. It has been used in many industrial applications.

Please read these terms carefully:
Once unpacked, this head gasket is non-returnable.
I will not accept any blame because your 50-60 year old engine block or cylinder head is not clean
and/or has not been resurfaced properly.
Likewise, if the cylinder head bolts have not been torqued to the correct value in the past, the threads
may have been pulled up and the head gasket might not seal as expected.
Long term use will tend to cause warping of the head in the center. Have it checked.
Both sides of the head gasket should be coated with a high temperature sealer like Permatex #1 before fitting.
Follow the instructions in the Hercules Manual.

I use USPS because I've found it is consistently the cheapest up to about 30lbs, and flat-rate whenever possible.
From 30—70lbs FedEx Ground is the cheapest to a residence. If you have or can use a business address, I can use FedEx Ground up to 150lbs!

For shipments over 150lbs, I use various freight carriers — all out of Syracuse, NY 13211. Ask me for a quote.
