A scarce piece, containing an unnamed review of The Adventures of David Copperfield the Younger, which had been published as a serial starting in the previous year and was in the process of being published as a complete book. The review refers to the text as “bulky” and the characters alone as “an overwhelming multitude,” while praising Dickens’ writing as “so vivid and constant in the exercise of his active genius”. A wonderful piece for preservation.
