This is a very rare, genuine large school slate from the late 1800s. As are most slates of this era, this slate is cracked longways but is solid in the frame and was no doubt used in this condition. The slate is in fair to poor condition but If you are looking for a true piece of American history at a great price, this slate is for you. It measures 10” x14” and is very solid.
