Up for your consideration original 1844 turquoise blue
celeste Sevres Louis Philippe porcelain plate. White round plate with
turquoise-blue ground border, gilt rims in grape leaf pattern, with the royal
cypher LP for Louis-Philippe in the center flanked by two hand-painted cherubs.
Two crowned monogram hallmark dated 1844, Chateau des Tuileries mark are on the
bottom. Louis-Philippe I was the king of France from 1830 to 1848. He settled
with his whole family in numerous residences such as Trianon, Les Tuileries,
Saint-Cloud, Fontainebleau. Louis-Philippe abolished le grand couvert and
introduced four types of services crafted in Sevres porcelain, with several
levels of luxury. Excellent condition, consistent with age and use. Signed/stamped
