GI Joe Image Comics is a comic book series that was published by Image Comics from 2001 to 2003. The series was written by Larry Hama, who also wrote the original GI Joe comic series for Marvel Comics from 1982 to 1994. The series was a reboot of the continuity, introducing new and old characters, such as Hawk, Snake-Eyes, Scarlett, Cobra Commander, and the Baroness. The series also had a spin-off title called GI Joe: Frontline, which explored the backgrounds and adventures of various characters. The series was later continued by Devil’s Due Publishing and IDW Publishing, with Hama resuming his writing duties.
