Jean-Charles Pellerin (1756 – 1836) was a cartier-dominotier merchant (playing cards and game sheets).
He became a “picture maker” and, by combining the techniques of engraved
wood for drawing and stencil coloring with the Gutenberg press,
he created his business and became a printer-publisher
