"This educational and design atlas of the V-2 diesel engine has been compiled, on the one hand, to support the educational process both in studying the engine design and in completing course and diploma designs, and on the other hand, for the purpose of its practical use in the conditions of engine repair and operation.
The atlas covers the design of a diesel engine manufactured in 1940. Changes and modifications to the engine that took place in 1941 and 1942 are partially reflected in the additions and comments placed at the end of the atlas, and will also be given on special additional insert sheets to be issued in the near future, which will reflect the consistent technical improvement of its design."
